Frequently Asked Questions About Our WaaS Template Websites
RV Park Marketing Studio’s template websites are a great solution for RV parks, campgrounds, and resorts looking for an efficient solution to marketing their properties. Here are some questions that are frequently asked with answers to explain how it works.
The Website as a Service (WaaS) model is transforming website development and marketing for businesses of all kinds. It’s popular for being cost-effective, time-efficient, and adaptable to niche-specific needs. It means that your website is built to order using a proven template system and is maintained on a subscription basis for as long as you choose to continue it.
Our RV Park Marketing Studio template solution offers quick setup, affordability, convenience and integration with your advanced marketing activities whenever you are ready to add more services. It’s a great solution for RV parks and campgrounds who want the confidence of knowing they have a professional solution and a marketing partner they can rely on to take the stress out of website management and marketing.
RV Park Marketing Studio website templates were created building on decades of experience building websites for service businesses, and years of experience with RV park and campground websites. As a result, we have expertise in business web design in general and specifically in the outdoor hospitality industry based on our work with clients. Our templates are optimized structurally for search engines and provide everything an RV park needs, with the ability to add anything novel you might want.
Websites as a Service provides a fixed price offering that makes it easy for businesses to understand what they are getting for their money. You can easily budget for your website on an ongoing basis, since you’ll have a fixed monthly payment without surprise expenses.
Our WaaS template system was created specifically for the outdoor hospitality industry and optimized for performance, so you’ll have faster page load times, a smoother user experience, and better performance all around.
Although you can create your own website in a Content Management System (CMS) like Squarespace or Wix, these aren’t professional platforms. What you’ll be missing are the advantages that professional web designers, marketers, and SEOs add to any website project. You won’t have the background to know how to make critical decisions about your site without expertise in writing marketing language, building an effective site, and optimizing it for visitors and search engines. And you’ll be taking time away from your primary job of running your RV park with no guaranteed results.
A template system like ours at RV Park Marketing Studio is the result of decades of experience building websites for service businesses, and years of experience with RV park and campground websites. Our proprietary template system and marketing packages were custom created just for the outdoor hospitality industry based on our work with clients. If you hire a web designer with no specific experience with the outdoor hospitality industry, you’ll be taking a chance that they won’t have the background to help you create a magnet for new business. If you hire someone who does have this experience, you’ll be spending a lot more money, waiting a lot longer for it to be completed, and ending your website build relationship with no guarantee of results or continuing support for marketing activities you’ll need.
We have template options for you to choose from. There’s a one-page website template for RV parks wanting a minimal but professional web presence, or alternate templates with multiple pages. Each template will be customized for you with your brand colors and fonts and your original photos.
We provide a thorough optimization of your site for search engines, along with ongoing analytics audit and repair for all your Google accounts—Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Business Profile. Unlike other providers who offer SEO as an additional paid service, we include analytics reporting and on-page optimization as a standard feature in all our packages.
Our templates all include this standard set of features. You can choose an affordable one-page design that you can add pages to later, or choose a template with as many pages as you would like to have. Our templates provide a wide variety of content types, forms, and calls to action. Our HOOKUP hybrid pricing model provides flexibility for a site that includes as much content or as little as you would like to include.
Yes, business should always own their domain names. Some developers like to retain control of client domain names, but we insist that you retain ownership of all your intellectual property for your own security. Your name should appear as both the billing and administrative contact names on your domain registration. By retaining ownership of your domain name, you control where the domain name points, should you decide to discontinue your RV Park Marketing Studio subscription at any point. We recommend GoDaddy for domain registration but any registrar will work.
Your website exists as a monthly subscription to our template system, which we retain ownership of. So although you won’t own your website outright, you can retain any original language we write on your behalf and any graphics that you provide yourself.
We provide the best WordPress hosting available, optimized for your website, as part of your monthly subscription at no extra charge. For a complete description of what this includes, see RV Park Website Design hosting details here.
Since your website exists as a monthly subscription to our proprietary template system, it can’t be moved outside of our system.
Our team provides a world class hosting environment and meticulous technical maintenance, including running multiple premium tools on your site to assure security. For a complete description of what this includes, see Meticulous Maintenance and World Class Hosting.
You will have access to edit your website if you would like, but for your own convenience and quality control, we recommend that you let our team update your site any time you need changes made. We’ll be sure to optimize for any changes, add appropriate graphics if needed, and see to it that your display isn’t inadvertently disrupted.
You can send us your request by creating a support ticket on our Client Support page here, which will alert our team right away that there is a task pending. Ask us for the password!
When your project begins, we work with you to help you gather up all the information we need for your website. Once we’ve received everything we need, your site should be done in about four weeks. At that point you’ll have the ability to look at the site before the public sees it, let us know if you need any changes, and then we can publish it.
At the time when your site is completed and published, we set up and connect all three of your Google accounts: Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console. You will be an owner of these accounts so you’ll have access to them, too. Then your accounts go into our routine audit and repair cycle so we can keep them optimized and deal with any alerts generated by Google.
Your website account includes all the predictable website expenses that are included in the marketing package you’ve chosen. The only things we don’t include are your domain name registration and email accounts.
Legal policies are a murky topic, because although they aren’t required by law, you can still get sued for not having them or not being compliant with privacy and accessibility guidelines. We highly recommend that you include legal policies for your own protection, but we leave it open to your discretion whether to include them or not. Policies are an optional add-on to your website subscription, since policies require a service purchase with setup and monthly expense. Learn more about policies here.
We require a 12-month minimum subscription, to be paid by autopay on the first of each month. You can by by bank account number, debit card, or credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
At any time after your 12-month minimum subscription is completed, you can request cancellation by email or by support ticket. We require 30 days notice prior to the first-of-the-month billing date.
We’ve found through experience that it takes a lot longer to bring a poorly designed website up to a high level of design and performance than to start with a base system that’s already optimized. So we don’t redesign or repair other vendors’ websites because it’s not a cost-effective solution for our clients.
Aside from our website template system, we offer a full range of marketing services—either on a “done for you” basis through our marketing packages or on a consultation basis. If you have a website that you’d prefer not to move, but you need marketing support, you can subscribe with us for a flat rate monthly fCMO (Fractional Chief Marketing Officer) consultation service to provide feedback for your in-house marketing staff and help organize their efforts in the right direction.
Yes, we are! Our founder is in California, all of our core marketing team are here in the states, and all are aligned with our mission to provide the best service possible to our outdoor hospitality clients. We have clients all over the U.S., too. See About Us for more.
